Job Title: Accounts Receivable/Billing Clerk
Location: Jacksonville, FL (100% Onsite)
Job Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 annually

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable  Accounts Receivable/Billing Clerk to join our team in Jacksonville. This is a full-time, onsite position offering a stable, long-term opportunity with a growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing and collections, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and issue accurate invoices in a timely manner
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Apply payments and reconcile customer accounts
  • Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure billing accuracy
  • Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
