Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Car Audio Installer/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, customizing, and fabricating audio and electronic systems in vehicles, including but not limited to head units, amplifiers, subwoofers, sound deadening, and custom enclosures. Strong fabrication skills and a passion for high-quality workmanship are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Install car audio systems including speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, head units, and processors.
Fabricate custom enclosures, panels, and mounting solutions using wood, fiberglass, metal, and plastics.
Perform clean and professional wiring, soldering, and heat-shrink techniques.
Diagnose and troubleshoot audio system issues and electrical problems.
Integrate systems with factory components including steering wheel controls and infotainment systems.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and build plans.
Operate shop tools and equipment including saws, routers, grinders, and upholstery tools.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Collaborate with team members to design and execute custom audio builds.
Stay current with new vehicle technologies and audio integration techniques.
