Commercial Plumber
Esser Plumbing and Heating, Inc. has been serving the Lakes Area since 1955! We are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber. The right candidate will have a thorough knowledge of plumbing codes and the ability to install complete, well-functioning systems that transport water, waste, gases or liquids.

Our Commercial Plumbers install and maintain well-functioning systems in accordance with state plumbing codes that transport water, waste, gases or hot liquids in commercial and industrial settings. This position requires a thorough knowledge of hydraulic systems, patience, a practical mind and manual dexterity, as well as the ability to able to work efficiently with great attention to detail. An experienced Commercial Plumber may lead a team and may be required to run jobs from start to finish based on experience, ensuring customer satisfaction at every step of the project.

Pay Range: $24 to $37 per hour

Schedule : 6:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday, some Fridays may be required

Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for installations
• Install domestic water piping, waste piping, boiler piping, and gas piping systems
• Test and inspect plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to enhance system efficiency and longevity
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and parts used
• Manage inventory of parts and equipment for seamless project execution
• Collaborate with team members and other trades to ensure timely and efficient work
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and industry guidelines

Required Skills, Abilities and Experience : 3 to 5 years of proven experience in plumbing installation; Journeyman or Master Plumbing License welcome, but not required; leadership, organization, and time management skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation; high school diploma or equivalent (trade school or apprenticeship preferred); ability to work independently while following direction as needed; reliably prompt.

Physical condition and strength required to work in awkward spaces; work is performed in various environments and includes exposure to hot and cold temperatures depending on job location and season; must be able to lift heavy materials and tools up to 60 lbs., work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
