Job Description

Position Overview:

• Business Title: Solar PV O&M Technician
• Position Type: Full-Time
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
• Pay: $35.00 - $51.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Operations: Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance for solar PV systems and related equipment.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all work adheres to Environmental and Safety standards.
• Training: Participate in various training programs (On-the-Job Training, Self-Study, etc.).
• Teamwork & Independence: Work both independently and as part of a team.
• Travel: Occasional travel required.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1+ year of experience in power plants, PV Solar O&M/EPC, or related fields (field experience in I&E, I&C, or C&I Electrician will be considered).
• Skills:
• Understanding of electrical or mechanical fundamentals.
• Knowledge of safety standards.
• Ability to operate business software.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours (including overtime).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: 2-year technical degree or Journeyman certification/qualification.

Physical Requirements:
