Job Description

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Active US CPA license
  • 8+ years of U.S. tax experience in a CPA firm, with a strong background in complex returns, reviews, audits, and tax research
  • 2+ years of experience representing clients before U.S. tax authorities (IRS, state/local)
  • Proven ability to manage, train, and supervise tax staff
  • Currently working at a CPA firm in the U.S. , ideally in Georgia
  • Willing to work hybrid from the Atlanta office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead tax reviews and approvals across complex federal and state filings
  • Drive tax planning and strategy with client-facing involvement
  • Manage research projects , supervise staff, and ensure team training
  • Liaise with Business Assurance (Audit) teams for larger client needs
  • Serve as a go-to resource on technical tax issues for internal teams
  • Maintain high-quality client service and up-to-date compliance practices

Tech Stack:

  • CCH ProSystem fx Tax or similar tax automation tools
